Dear Sharbani (Director of Gandhi Gurukul Group, (Kolkata)
Greetings!
I feel honoured to have been invited as the chief guest for the lamp lighting ceremony of new buddies of GNM (General Nursing Midwife) and BSC Nursing. I also would like to thank each one of senior Members for honouring me with high pride.
I must accept an educational institution is not just a building made of cement and bricks but is actually the place where individuals grow to build a lucrative career. It is a home away from home where we discover ourselves and are guided onto the right path. An institution does not just provide knowledge, but educates on the wisdom, to apply the knowledge and skill appropriately. The best feature of this institution is that it values the opinion of each and every student. Gandhi Institute of Management and Technology has a great impact on each student’s life in a positive manner. GMIT is an institution where the emphasis is given on overall development of the students with much priority to industrial visits, guest lectures, and personality development classes so that graduates and post graduates can lead the society. Every end marks a new beginning. Now it’s time to demonstrate out with the old and in with the new… it’s time for us to embrace opportunities to improve.
GMIT offers courses like MBA, BBA, Hospital Management and also it is the admission centre for GNM under R.R. School Of Nursing (INC, APNC Approved) and BSC Nursing under R College Of Nursing ( INC, NTR, University Of Health Science Approved).
The institute is providing courses for nurses, to build their career in the field of nursing, to serve the mankind in any crisis situation. From ensuring the most accurate diagnoses to the ongoing education of the public about critical health issues; nurses are indispensable in safeguarding public health. In last 40 years of my career as a nurse, I have gone through several hardships, but still have the courage to overcome hurdles which comes each day. I want every nurse to have the courage to fight their battle with hardships, which will come at each step of their career and come out victorious.
Also, we must strive to equip our Nurses as future leaders with the competence to address emerging challenges.
We should recalibrate ourselves for the changing times and move forward together as a team. When our core values and actions are in alignment, a thriving culture emerges.
I believe that we can continue to find motivation and tenacity every day if we keep our focus on the GOAL, Keeping spirits and determination unshaken.
I will look forward to keep this relationship and wish the institution a grand success in near future in all possible way.
Thanks & best Regards
